Three months later than the Setmana Ciclista Valenciana, the Team Alé - Cipollini is back to Spain for the Vuelta a Burgos from 16th to 19th May.
There are four stages overall: the opening is with start and finish in Villadiego (109.5 km), good for attackers, and there is the Alto de Tobar in the route. Its top is at 19 kms from the finish. Two uphill finish are programmed in the stage 2 and 3: first at Poza de la Sal (where there is the start) then and at Alto de Rosales 8Stage start in Medina de Pomar). The last stage is on Sunday, 19th from Pedrosa de Valdeporres to Villarcayo, with another complicated final. including the Alto Retuerta at 24 kms to go.
Giuseppe Lanzoni will direct the Team in the Spanish race, and it is composed by Anna Trevisi, the South Korean Ahreum Na, the Dutch duo with Marjolein Van’t Geloof (recently third at the Trofee Maarten Wynants) and Karlijn Swinkels, the Serbian Champion Jelena Eric and Soraya Paladin (third at the Tour de Yorkshire).
