Alé BTC Ljubljana: 18-28 January second training camp in Altea, Spain

The 2021 cycling season is just around the corner and the Alé BTC Ljubljana team, the only Italian women’s UCI WorldTour team, is preparing to spend ten days at a training camp, from 18th to 28th January, in Spain to refine its athletic condition before the start of the races.
To host the second meeting of the girls of the team chaired by Alessia Piccolo will be the Hotel Cap Negret of Altea, near Alicante, a town overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The 12 athletes, under the direction of team manager Fortunato Lacquaniti, sports directors Giuseppe Lanzoni and Gorazd Penko and new coach Michele Devoti, will intensify their preparation work, undergo some tests and take advantage of the opportunity to spend time together and cement the group.
The young Ainara Albert, one of the most promising juniors in the Spanish cycling movement, will also join the training sessions in Spain. She will have the opportunity to live an important experience of growth with a professional women’s team for a few days. The girl is among the talents that is following with great interest the former pro rider Stefano Garzelli, who with his wife Maria Benimeli leads the Style&Sport Agency.
