EVERYTHING IS READY TO START THE EMAKUMEEN BIRA

From May 22nd to May 25th the stage race considered as the Women’s Basque Country (and valid for the Women’s World Tour) will take place. Four stage are planned to assign the overall general classification: the Big Start is in Iurreta tomorrow, a big occasion for the sprinters. The topic changes about the stage 2 from Aduna to Amasa. The organizers considers this stage route as “legbreaking”, with a long serie of short climbs. Santa Teodosia is the finish of the Stage 3, at the top of a climb of 2,700 meters at 9.4% average, ideal for explosive riders. The big final is from Oñati to Oñati for 156 kms and four climbs: Udana and Untzilla (Cat. 3), Atagoiti (Cat. 2) and Asentzio (Cat. 1). From the top of this climb to the finish there are only 18 kms.
