EMAKUMEEN BIRA, ANNA TREVISI 5TH IN THE STAGE 1

The sprinter from Reggiolo (Reggio Emilia, Italy) finds the top 5 of the opening day of the Basque stage race, 101 kms with start and finish in Iurreta which was won by the Belgian sprinter Jolien D’Hoore; second place for Sofia Bertizzolo, 3rd was Gracie Elvin.

This is the third time that Anna finishes with this result in this season, since the Vuelta Valenciana in February and the Omloop van Borsele one month ago.

The 32nd Emakumeen Bira Women’s World Tour will become harder from tomorrow: the stage 2 from Aduna to Amasa for 110.8 kms has a first part with two categorized climbs before entering a final circuit and a steep climb in the last kilometer to the finish.
