SORAYA PALADIN 8TH AT LA COURSE BY LE TOUR DE FRANCE

Another big performance for the #YellowFluoOrange rider in the Women’s World Tour, who finished in 8th place the one-day race in Pau (121 kms overall) won by Marianne Vos. Soraya Paladin stayed in the main group chasing Amanda Spratt, who was taken at only 200 meters from the finish line on the final, steep climb at 19%. Soraya could then sprint for a placement in the top 10. The Japanese champion Eri Yonamine was also in the same group with Soraya and finished 23rd. The line-up was completed by the Commonwealth Champion Chloe Hosking, the South Korean Ahreum Na and the Italians Nadia Quagliotto (2nd in the Giro Rosa Iccrea stage in Carate Brianza) and Jessica Raimondi.

On the other side, in the Netherlands, the Team Alé - Cipollini is racing the BeNe Ladies Tour. The Sports Director Giuseppe Lanzoni leads the line-up including the two Dutchies Marjolein Van’t Geloof and Karlijn Swinkels, the German Romy Kasper, the Serbian Champion Jelena Eric and the Colombian Diana Peñuela
