SORAYA PALADIN 5TH AT THE AMSTEL GOLD RACE!

The athlete from Cimadolmo (Treviso) of the Alé - Cipollini Cycling Team did a superb performance in the Classic Race on the hills of the Dutch Region of Limburg, the opening race of the Ardennes Week. The last passage on the Cauberg at less than 3 kms from the finish has been decisive: on the final climb Kasia Niewiadoma attacked and the chasing group tried to catch her, with Soraya Paladin in the very first positions after having her teammates working for her. The Colombian Diana Peñuela has been the last #YellowFluoOrange rider resisting with Soraya after doing a precious work. Paladin ended behind Marianne Vos and Annika Langvad (respectively 3rd and 4th overall) in the sprint for the third place, and she was the best Italian at the finish with her 5th placement.

The Ardennes week continues on Wednesday 24th in Belgium with the Fleche Wallonne and its finish on the terrible Mur de Huy.
