From the Cauberg to the Mur de Huy: With the Dutch race over the Alé - Cipollini is ready for the second of the three Women’s World Tour races in the Ardennes, the Fleche Wallonne. The mood is high, due to the splendid performance of the Italian Team last Sunday at the Amstel Gold Race and the 5th place overall by Soraya Paladin, which permits to her to enter the Top 15 of the Women’s World Tour.

The Fleche Wallonne, planned for Wednesday 24th April, has the Mur de Huy as race start and finish, and a passage after 89.5 kms. In the first part (70.5 kms) of the race, there is only the Cote de Warre to climb. After that, there are the Cote d’Ereffe and the Cote de Cherave to be climbed twice with the Mur de Huy.

Compared to the Amstel Gold Race line-up there is only one change: the German Romy Kasper will participate instead of Chloe Hosking. The team is completed by Soraya Paladin, Nadia Quagliotto, Eri Yonamine, Karlijn Swinkels and Diana Peñuela, with the Team Manager Fortunato Lacquaniti.
