PALADIN DOES A GREAT FINAL OF THE GIRO DI TOSCANA

It’s an amazing end for the #YellowFluoOrange cyclist, who beated Arlenis Sierra in the sprint of the last stage of the Giro di Toscana - Memorial Michela Fanini, taking also the second place in the General Classification and the win of the Green Jersey as Mountain Ranking leader.

Soraya Paladin gets in Pescia her third win of the year, after the two stages of the Vuelta a Burgos last spring in Spain. In the very new stage finish of the Giro di Toscana she could beat the cuban rider of Astana Women’s Team after racing along the stage route with also 5 climbs, the last at only 4 kms to go.

Soraya won the sprint and jumps to second in the GC, 12’’ behind Sierra, who succeeds to Paladin as race winner. Soraya also dominated the Mountains Classification with 33 points. Chloe Hosking is also in the Top 10 of the GC, in 10th place at 47’’ from Sierra. With ttwo Stage wins (Hosking and Paladin), and a third place in the prologue (Swinkels) the Giro di Toscana - Memorial Michela Fanini ends very well for the #YellowFluoOrange team.

The preparation for the 2019 World Championships continues on Sunday 15th September with the 5th WNT Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta, a Women’s World Tour on the roads of the Spanish Capital City in occasion of the final stage of the Men’s Vuelta a España.
