The Team of the President Alessia Piccolo starts officially its 2019 season in Australia. The Santos Women’s Tour Down Under is the most historical Stage race in the Land of Kangaroos. where the #YellowFluoOrange girls always demonstrated their important qualities.

The Team Captain will be the “veteran” and home idol Chloe Hosking, the Commonwealth Champion, helped by her confirmed teammate Romy Kasper (Germany) and four, new entries: the Italians Jessica Raimondi and Nadia Quagliotto, the Japanese Eri Yonamine and the Dutch Marjolein Van’t Geloof. The new Sports Director Giuseppe Lanzoni will guide the six athlete from the Team Car.

The Santos Women’s Tour 2019 is developed in four stages between 10th and 13th January: the opening stage is the Hahndorf - Birdwood (112.9 kms), followed by the Nuriotpaa - Mengler Hill, the longest one for its 116.7 kms. The stage 3 goes from Nairne to Stirling, with a short uphill finish with would move the GC before the kermesse of the day after in Adelaide through the “only” 42.5 kms of the final stage.

WIN IN COLOMBIA FOR DIANA PEÑUELA

The new Alè - Cipollini rider has taken a victory in a national race on her home soil, the event took place in Manizales and it is the first race of the national calendar in Colombia.
