Alé BTC Ljubljana: historic first Paris-Roubaix. And the Giro dell'Emilia

​Saturday 2nd October 2021 will remain a historic date for women’s cycling. Tomorrow, in fact, the first edition of the Paris-Roubaix Femmes will take place, the classic par excellence of world cycling, which also opens to women. And among the protagonist teams there will be also the Alé BTC Ljubljana.

To be covered 116,4 km from Denain to the mythical velodrome of Roubaix with 17 sectors and a total of 29,2 km of pavé. The last 85 km of the race are the same as the men’s race with the passages from Mons-en-Péveèle and the Carrefour de l’Arbre. The start is scheduled for 1:35pm. Expected finish around 5pm. The race will be broadcast live from 3.15pm on Eurosport 1 and GCN and on Raisport.

Also tomorrow, another part of the Italian team will be engaged in Bologna for the Giro dell’Emilia BPER Banca Internazionale Donne Elite of 87.2 km with arrival at the top of the San Luca climb (2.1 km with an average gradient of 10% and a peak of 18%).
