Alé BTC Ljubljana towards the Trofeo Binda in Cittiglio

Alé BTC Ljubljana team returns to Italy for the second round of the UCI WorldTour calendar. Tomorrow, Sunday 21st March, the Trofeo Alfredo Binda is scheduled to ride from Cuocquio Trevisago to Cittiglio, in the province of Varese, over a distance of 141.6 kilometres.

The sports directors Fortunato Lacquaniti and Gorazd Penko will line up the following six athletes at the start: Marta Bastianelli, Eugenia Bujak, Marlen Reusser, Ursa Pintar, Mavi Garcia and Tatiana Guderzo.

The start will be given at 12.10, the arrival is expected around 16.10 in Cittiglio.

From 14.30 it will be possible to follow the race live on TV on Raisport, Eurosport 2, Eurosport player and GCN Race.

The route is ideally divided into three different sections. The first section provides a ring of seven kilometres to Olginasio and Besozzo (to be repeated twice). Then follows a second stretch to Luino with the climbs of Grantola and Brinzio. Finally, the athletes will cover the traditional final circuit, to be repeated four times, through Brenta, Casalzuigno, Cuveglio, Cuvio, Orino, Azzio, Gemonio and Cittiglio.​
