For the Alé BTC Ljubljana team, good news comes from the East, where Thai champion Jutatip Maneephan starts in the best possible way at The Princess Maha Chackri Sirindhorn’s Cup Women’s Tour of Thailand, a three-stage UCI category 2.1 race.
Today the first stage of 82.1 km was race with start and finish in the city of Surat Thani: Maneephan won the sprint after more than two hours of racing, overtaking the two riders of the Thailand Women’s Cycling Team, Supuksorn Nuntana and Chaniporn Batriya.
The race leader’s jersey also arrives for her.
For the Alé BTC Ljubljana rider this is the second success of the year after I had already regained the national road race title in August.
