Alé BTC Ljubljana begins September with the Tour de l'Ardeche and the Giro delle Marche in Rosa

​Alé BTC Ljubljana is preparing to begin the month of September with two stage races, one international and the other national, with the aim of continuing to refine the physical condition of its athletes just a few days before the start of one of the most important events of the year: the Giro Rosa.

From Thursday 3rd to Wednesday 9th September a group will be in France to take part in the Tour de l’Ardeche, an international 2.1 stage race divided into seven stages.

LINE UP Tour de l’Ardeche:

Mavi Garzcia, Ery Yonamine, Ursa Pintar, Urska Zigart, Urska Bravec, Maaike Boogaard.

From 4th to 6th September, in Italy, will take place the Giro delle Marche in Rosa (Recanati Friday 4th September, Loreto Saturday 5th and Offida Sunday 6th), women’s Open race.

The sports director Fortunato Lacquaniti explains: “Right now our goal is to prepare our riders for the Giro Rosa in the best possible way. In France there will be the Spanish champion Mavi Garcia, who has demonstrated to be very well physically and for her it will be another important step just in view of the Giro. In the next few days in Italy there will also be the Giro delle Marche in Rosa and we have decided to participate with the riders who will not be in France to do some legwork always aimed at the Giro”.
