SORAYA PALADIN 2ND AT THE SETMANA VALENCIANA

The athlete of the Team Alé - Cipollini jumps officially on the overall podium of the Spanish stage race in second place, between the German Clara Koppenburg (race winner) and the South African Ashleigh Moolman - Pasio, third. That is the second Top 3 in a row for Soraya in a stage race considering the last season, when she could win the final stage and the GC of the Giro della Toscana Femminile - Memorial Michela Fanini.

The last stage of the Setmana Ciclista Valenciana (Valencia - Sagunt, 104 km) has been won by the Finnish National Champion Lotta Lepistö, who beated Elena Cecchini and Coryn Rivera. A sprint for the Polka Dot Jersey happened on the top of the Alto del Oronet, where Soraya came third to conquer definitely the special Mountain Classification with 5 points of advantage from Koppenburg.
