ERI YONAMINE IS THE ITT JAPANESE CHAMPION!

For the 8th time in her career the athlete of Alé - Cipollini defends the national title of the Individual Time Trial. The 2019 edition took place in the Fuji International Circuit for 26.8 kms, where Eri dominated the race. The silver medal Sae Fukuda ended with a delay of 1’07’’ and Minami Uwano was third and 1’26’’ from Yonamine, who finished in 40’38’’ becoming the only athlete above the average speed of 38 km/h.

Eri said after the race: “I felt a bit nervous before the race, it was my first ITT of the season. The route was technical and everything went well on my MCipollini Bike. Luckily it started to rain after my race, I feel very happy and now I can think about the road race of Saturday.”
