The Australian sprinter, third yesterday in the opening stage of the 2019 Ladies Tour of Norway, has finished 6th today in the stage 2, won by Marianne Vos, who anticipated the peloton at about 5 kms from the finish.
Chloe Hosking is having a top level condition, kkeping her shape in constant at its best with the 3 top 10 of 3 and the actual third place in the GC after two stages.
Today’s stage (Mysen - Askim, 133.6 km) had two cathegorized climbs in its first part, where Soraya Paladin gained enough points to keep the leadership in the special Mountain Classification. The big contenders started their fight for the stage win while entering the three laps of an 8 kms long final circuit in Askim: Marianne Vos tried a first attack at about 15 kms to go and Soraya Paladin went with her, with Hosking in the chasing peloton. Again Vos did the decisive attack in the last lap so the Team Alé - Cipollini worked to have the Commonwealth Champion in the very first positions giving the best. The sprint was launched and Chloe finished 6th keeping the podium in the GC at just 4’’ from Marianne Vos who leads with her compatriot Lorena Wiebes.
Tomorrow there is the stage 3 of the 2019 Ladies Tour of Norway, from Moss to Halden for 125.2 kms.
