The #YellowFluoOrange Team, directed today by the Sports Director Giuseppe Lanzoni, has taken a brilliant fifth place with Anna Trevisi and the Sprints Classification with the Serbian Champion Jelena Eric at the Dutch Semiclassic race, long 139 kms. The Alé - Cipollini duo attacked with a group of 13 athletes overall only 4 kms after the start and resisted until the end of the race, which was extremely windy. Jelena Eric won all the intermediate sprints, then she launched the final one to her teammate Anna Trevisi (who raced with the number 1), fifth. The win has gone to the Dutch rider Lorena Wiebes.

Quotes by Anna Trevisi: “It has been a very hard race, the wind was very strong! We attacked very soon and the peloton couldn’t catch us anymore so we tried to take the win. These 130 kms in the breakaway have been really tough and we have given our very best.”

The #YellowFluoOrange Team will be tomorrow at the legendary Liege-Bastogne-Liege, valid for the Women’s World Tour.
