Chloe Hosking, an Australian talent, has signed with the Alé Cipollini team in 2017. Hosking represents a key signing by Alessia Piccolo in the construction of the team for the next season.

Chloe Hosking is part of the international flavour for the Alé Cipollini Galassia team for 2017, which aims to continue to balance Italian spirit with international visibility.

While the construction and care of the Italian movement remains the main objecitve of the team, having foreign athletes ensures the team’s presence even outside the Italian borders.

The strong Australian sprinter race the last two seasons for Wiggle-High5. In 2016, Hosking recorded six victories, including the La Course by Le Tour de France, the Tour of Chongming Island, a stage at the Giro Rosa and second at Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta behind her teammate. She has chosen the Italian team of Alessia Piccolo, the Alé Cipollini Galassia, to play her cards in 2017: “I’m really excited to race for the Alé Cipollini Galassia team next season. In recent years I have grown a lot, I could learn from and race alongside great cyclists, including Giorgia Bronzini, Elisa Longo Borghini, Jolien d’Hoore and Nettie Edmondson, but now I want to find a team where I have space to act as a leader and to work together with my team for the absolute best possible outcome.”

Alé Cipollini Galassia staff have already welcomed Hosking with open arms. Management is confident her new #yellowfluorange teammates will do the same: “I’m sure that Chloe will make a huge leap in quality with us. She’s a strong athlete, a winner, has matured as a cyclist but is not fully developed and has important international experience” said Alessia Piccolo, beaming for the new purchase. “Do not forget that she has already won important and prestigious races. from the stage of the Giro d’Italia in 2016 to the Paris Classic on the Champs- Élysées. Chloe is a rider with great skills and with us she will have the opportunity to express herselves as a leader, along with Marta Bastianelli. Hosking is the first new signing revealed by Alé Cipollini Galassia team, which remains under construction, ready to impress also in the next season.
