For  Alè Cipollini Galassia Team  the Trophée d'Or closed as it was opened, with a podium, always signed by Barbara Guarischi. Elena Berlato finished 2nd in the overall ranking, after a great  stage, where she had been in the breakaway with Elisa Longo Borghini.
